About Us

At CrossFit Paso Robles our coaches are certified CrossFit coaches with extensive backgrounds in CrossFit,  personal training, including youth, post rehab and sport specific training, offering you the highest quality of training available!  We are responsible for ensuring that your workout is neither easy, nor impossible.  We will correct your form and improve your range of motion.  Our coaches will help you safely progress your speed and intensity, while scaling exercises and load to your fitness level.   We are passionate about your fitness goals, helping you transform the way you look and feel!
CrossFit Paso Robles is the right choice for everyone who:

  • Does not enjoy exercise or has become bored with their routine

The best way to get a feel for CrossFit Paso Robles is to come and check out a class!  Our gym in Paso Robles has a very different feel than a lot of CrossFit gyms, which all have their own personality; don’t be intimidated by what you may have seen in commercials or videos. At CrossFit Paso Robles, you will immediately see people of all ages and skill levels working out together, supporting each other and welcoming newcomers to join our family.  Our classes are an excellent mixture of individual coaching and group motivation.

What to expect

You will see a group ranging from 4 to 15 athletes of all abilities working out together. You won’t see any machines in the gym other than rowers; YOU ARE THE MACHINE. You can expect a lot of coaching to teach you proper execution of various movements. We use a lot of “Bumper Plates” (rubber weights), which allows our athletes to just drop weights, so sometimes it gets a little noisy. You’ll see everyone working out with a lot of intensity, but are friendly and supportive, motivating each other to push themselves. The workout is different every day, so you will never be bored; with our constantly varied programming you will rarely do the same workout twice in any given year! You will never have to program your own workouts or spend hours in the gym. Instead, each day a workout will be provided for you that is scalable to suit your fitness level.

How intense are the classes?

We can modify our programs in many ways. Our coaches will ensure that you get a great workout, at your fitness level.  Anyone can do CrossFit!

Meet The Team

Chad Bennett


I have played sports all of my life and finished with a career ending injury in college football. I had been looking for an outlet for
my competitiveness and need for physical activity when I found CrossFit. I instantly loved the team aspect and competitive side of CrossFit. I saw quick results for working out and wanted to become a coach to share this passion with those interested in competing, as well as, those just wanting to get into shape.
I am a full time crane operator and married with 3 children. I find CrossFit to be vital in helping me the best I can be at work and with my family.

Kerin Bennett


I am a busy mom of three who enjoys cooking, bike riding and going to the beach with my family.  I have a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, law and society. CrossFit is my first ever sport. As a ”non-athlete,” CrossFit has given me the opportunity to recognize the benefits of strength and conditioning programs for both competitive athletes as well as everyday people looking to improve overall health and mental toughness!

My path in fitness is a familiar one. I participated in sports all through high school and college (gymnastics, track, volleyball). After starting a family I struggled with finding a sport that was as satisfying and challenging as gymnastics. In 2010 I was told about CrossFit from a friend that lived in another town but could not find anything local. While entering my local gym I noticed a CrossFit sign and decided to check it out. It was love at first workout. I found that not only are the workouts constantly varied and challenging but also the CrossFit family is very inviting and always willing to share what information they have.
Outside of CrossFit I’m a full time Fire Engineer for Atascadero State Hospital and a volunteer Fire Engineer for Templeton Fire. I have my CrossFit Level 1 Certification. I am also EMT/CPR certified. I am looking forward to participating in other certifications in the near future.
I enjoy sharing my experiences with others through CrossFit. It is important to me to have fun in the box, and I’m grateful that I get to do this at such a great box!

When I turned 40, I found myself 30 pounds overweight, and after some health scares in my family, I decided to do something about it. I’ve always enjoyed a weight room, but started finding it difficult to get results there. In 2015, a friend bugged me until I tried Crossfit, and I was instantly hooked! People were cheering me on to finish the workout, (which never happens in a weight room,) and I left that day on a cloud. I stuck with it, changed my diet, and lost that 30 pounds pretty fast. I’m in the best shape of my life.
Now as trainer, I’ve found that nothing gives me more joy than seeing someone give their sincerest, best effort. Being a part of that with anyone at any level is an enormous privilege.

I started CrossFit in early 2010 after being a “gym rat” since I was 14 years old. I needed a workout to push me beyond my years of training and gym fatigue and CrossFit was definitely the answer. It has pushed me to achieve more than I ever thought possible and has improved my total well-being, strength, and fitness.
Outside of CrossFit, I am the owner of Mustang Lanes and co-owner of Pismo Bowl and The Slice Pizza & Games. I grew up as an athlete and played many sports including baseball, golf, bowling, football, and wrestling. I introduced my wife, Christen, to CrossFit a few years ago and she is also hooked! We have two awesome kids, Ada and Liam.
My years of training inspired me to get my CrossFit Level 1 Certification and I love being able to pass on all my experiences to the fellow athletes at CrossFit Paso Robles. I look forward to coaching you and working out with you at our box!

Stevie Goldie
I started CrossFit in April, 2013 soon after my second child was born. Before CrossFit I would only make it to a standard gym a few times a month running on the same treadmill and not have much motivation to return. CrossFit provided variety, community, and structure and took away the intimidation of lifting heavy weights and pushing myself. CrossFit Paso Robles has become a second home for myself and my family that we look forward to going to every day.
After 2 years of training and improving my overall fitness, I decided to become a Level 1 Trainer and coach at CrossFit Paso Robles so I could encourage and motivate others in the gym. Just as I liked seeing improvements in my own capacity and performance, being a trainer has let me be a part of other people’s accomplishments and victories.
Outside of CrossFit I’m a stay-at home mom and like to go to the beach, hike, and go camping with my husband Ben and our two kids Hadley and Baz.
